Crossroad

Standing on one side of the road
He waited for the traffic
to slow
so that he can cross the road

He then noticed an old women
with thick....very think glasses
standing there....beside him
to cross the road...

He thought if he should
lend his hand
and help her
cross the road.

And then the traffic slowed down.

At office...he was busy
with work
then he had lunch
and then some more work
And then in the evening
he thought of leaving
for home.
But before that
he thought of
checking news online
to know what all
are happening in the city
that he lives in
and then
he saw
a picture
of the same road
that he crossed
in the morning
with some blood.
The news mentioned
that an old lady had died
while crossing the road.
